Well it's a good job we're all different!! I like James Taylor, I think he uses the guitar cleverly with counter-point bass lines underpinning a melodic picking style. His voice can be a bit monotonous, I agree, but from a playing point of view he's good. I can't compare Neil Young with the Eagles!??! What's that about?? Both have had their brilliant moments and both have made me want to stick my head in the oven, but for completely different reasons. The Eagles could get horribly commercial with mawkish sentimentality , and NY was often so far up his own arse I'm sure he thought the Harvest Moon shone from it! On topic, $250 for a Neil Young concert? I could have a whole course of treatment at the NYCFTTS and still have change for ear plugs!
