My Grandfather for years was noted for his quirky little stories and ryhmes and i remember him saying this version It was not last night but the night before 2 Tom cats came knocking at my door, i went downstairs to let them in and they knocked me over with a rolling pin. The Rolling pin was made of brass, so i turned around and kicked their arse
