All that craft stuff sounds a real bargain!

The conservation officer has been and approved the sandstone, which is good news from a practical and financial point of view. Just got to get the last quote in now, contact archaeologista, get a few more biys in writing, and then get a date set for a start. Probably won't be until late spring/early summer, at a guess.

Got another couple of boxes unpacked in the annexe yesterday, and this morning I attacked the pampas grass, and slung neat weedkiller into the cut ends of the stems. Should do the job. I doubt anything will be planted there for many months yet.

I seem to be having an allergic reaction to either the eyebrow pencil I used on Saturday, the eye makeup remover, or the Chinese meal I had on Saturday evening (I wore the make up all day, and the itching started in my brows later in the evening). I now have a few red weals on my face, slightly puffy eyes (although they aren't so bad now, amd arent irritating me) and my face is itchy. I thought I had been bitten in the garden first off! Anyway, I'm firing the antihistamines in, and I'll see how it goes. Last time I had a mystery itch/weals like this, and on my chest and shoulder, it turned out to be shingles! No sign of blisters, though. The headache isn't helping either.

Time for another pill, methinks.

Andrea
