Sorry Murray - I learnt Tinkerman's Daughter from Cathal McConnell - brother of Mickey - about 8 year before I recorded it - then when I went to record it I phoned Mickey and asked his permission - he was actually recording it for 'Peter Pan and Me' at the same time....... he gave me the ok and I didn't know there was a different note until I actually heard his album - a few months later - so - I didn't actually change his version - its the way I learnt it - For the record - Mickey likes the version I recorded.
