Family legend has it that we are somehow related to a Father John Meehan, who supposedly was a Fenian rebel in Dublin. However, to the best of my memory, he never made it into a song. The closest I come to anything close to Naemanson's story is that my mother's family name, Donnelly, is mentioned in the song Dear Old Donegal. Does that count?
