My son, John Null has organized the second annual St. Andrews Presbyterian College Folk Festival in conjunction with its alumni weekend. It takes place April 16 from 12:00-5:00 PM in Laurinburg, NC, and is free. The festival will be held outdoors (if the weather is good) and it has a wonderful lineup, starting off with some local college talent, then guest appearances by David White and Abby Sale. It moves on to myself doing American and Celtic traditional songs a cappella, followed by RILEY BAUGUS doing his wonderful old-time banjo, some fiddle, and strong mountain-style singing. David Via and Corn Tornado bring the festival to a rousing finale with original songs of power and beauty backed by a rousing newgrass/alt country acoustic sound that the skirts the edge of many more traditional genres. For more information call John Null 910 276-9745 and check out the festival web page: http://www.sapc.edu/alumni/alumniweekend/folkmusic.php
