Hello all, I apologize for bumping a very old thread, but I was wondering if anyone out there could help me to locate a recording of Paddy Doran's version of "Blackwaterside". It was recorded by Peter Kennedy in 1952 and possibly aired on his BBC radio show before eventually getting released on the Folktrax cassette "Puck Fair - Irish Tinker Singers Vol. 3" (FTX-168, now out of print). I've been able to locate recordings of "Blackwaterside" by Paddy's wife Mary Doran as well as Winnie Ryan, but Paddy's version has thus eluded me.
