Maybe its silly but I started listening to this recording and sing its praises again (after 40 odd years) Vince Martin and the Late Fred Neil recorded this in the early 60's with John Sebastian and the late Felix Paparardi on guitarron (Mexican Bass guitar) Two twelve guitars
The singing and playing are, my opinion, fantastic! The songs like the title cut and "Toy Balloon" are exemplary
Whats interesting to note is the at this time Vince Martin was the "real star" as he had in AM hit with "Cindy Oh Cindy" with Vince Martin and the Tarriers
Just to let everyone know, Vince is still around. He is living in Brooklyn, NY and he posts on Facebook Some of you might have this in your vinyl collections somewhere stashed away
Some of you, this may be the first time hearing it. I envy you the first experience. You can find it both on Amazon and I-Tunes
(as well as Vince's Martin latest CD "Jazmin" about life in Coconut Groove" where he in Fred lived in the 60's
I believe this recording is worth revisiting
