I'm turning my sad turf lawn into a native garden . . . if I can find it in the hills 30 minutes from my house, then I'll try to plant it and grow it in my yard. The cats are taking advantage of the transitional stage. I suppose if I wanted to go really authentic I could turn some coyotes loose in the yard . . . which would solve the cat problem, but open up a whole new range of problems. Such is life, friends.
