I liked this thread, too. I like Don McLean's music, whatever his category. I hope it isn't too late to add this: Some other really good tracks on his Solo LP are "Over the Waterfall/Arkansas Traveler" and "Cripple Creek/Muleskinner Blues". Also wanted to add that it was nice to hear him on 4 July as featured artist in concert with the Boston Pops. 300,000 happy folks at the Esplanade.
