Yesterday I hauled off 6 boxes of stuff to 2 different places. That felt good when it was over, but I'm really not fond of the whole process. Can't do that after every weekend effort. Which means I've got to set up a 'staging area' where things collect til being driven away. Perhaps the last remaining open wall area in the garage will do for the first batch. Then it's on to the next group of clutter, the dreaded full closet of 'inactive' files and projects and stuff. After a huge purge, some will need to go to 'dead' storage in the attic. Ah, but there's the rub, there's no more planking in the attic. So I've got to get some quarter sheets of plywood or something up there. I did at least pull out one large 'pass-along' item today and stick it in himself's car for him to pass along. Which is progress on the do-it-now front. It's the chain reactions that really bog one down. Can't clear this til that area has room, can't do that until there's space in the attic...yada yada. The Chain-Reaction Clutter syndrome.
