I have had an email from the planners - er - it sounds like we can go ahead...
I was told to let them know when we start so that they can send a conservation officer (probably to approve the stone on-site). I have forwarded it on to the builder, so I am now awaiting a start date. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Bought a new heavy plastic coated tablecloth this morning, so that I can use my dining table to cook on and prep food. Still waiting to hear when the guy is coming to do the work on the chimney breast. Now need to start and box up cupboard contents and get the camping toilet moved into the house, plus anything else I'll need in the camping line over the summer, before the building work stops me getting at the shed! I can see it being a summer of minimalist camping this year!

Maybe the re-boxing of the kitchen crocks and stuff might encourage me to shed some more...
