The young set, I think mostly students on or graduates of the Newcastle folk sausage machine and their chums, are without doubt exceptionally talented musicians and for the most part jolly nice chaps. Let me say that first. BUT common courtesy seems lacking. When they get together in a session us mere mortals who have been keeping the traditions alive so that they can get degrees out of it and hopefully a career as well, don't have a *** in ***'s chance of slipping in the odd Rakes of Mallow.
