The lyrics to The Teddy Bears' Rave-up were written by myelf during the early seventies when Alan Briars and myself were the comedy duo Mechanical Horsetrough. After the success of our great mate Fred Wedlock with his hit The Oldest Swinger in Town, Fred wanted to follow it up with Teddy Bears' Rave-up but EMI who own the copyright to TB Picnic prevented it. Sadly, Fred is now in the great folk club in the sky and is sorely missed. Peewee Hunt 21/6/2011
