I am so sorry that you're having a difficult time. Have you phoned the companies up and tried to arrange some sort of payment plan? Would they put a meter in if the worst came to the worst? That's what they do here in the UK and it's not ideal, but better than having no services at all. I hope that things get better for you and good luck.
