I was told that "haver" meant "vomit" kinda like heave does... I imagined the singer was saying that if he was drunk and sick, she'd be the one comforting him... BUT I asked a friend who i don't see often, but is Scottish by birth, and he agreed with you... "haver" means to babble or talk non-stop or talk silly stuff... he did, however, say that many other folks had heard the "vomit" story and he was not surprised...
