New medication, no matter how harmless seeming, such as cold medication? I needed coumadin once and had six months of bad dreams. Alcoholic drink in the evening? Alcohol early can mean trouble late. Eating dinner late? I'll get them if I eat past 8 pm. There are probably more causes I don't know about. (I'm sorry for your trouble.)
