GUEST,Bottleneck Bill Hear Bottleneck Bill play 'poor boy' (19) RE: Hear Bottleneck Bill play 'poor boy' 15 Jul 11

Hi, all I think Jim is refering to Rollin`n Stone From Robert Pete Williams, I used the Herb Quin Melody (which he recorded as Casey , you cain`t catch the train ) played upright for po`boy. Jesus died on the Cross is Bukka`s Po` Boy put to religious Lyrics which he possibly recorded earlier as Washington Phillips. We Musicians can`t win - we`re either crap or rip off merchants! beleive me I`d love to play a few festivals and make a buck but to-date have been snubbed ! I primarly play the music I love and don`t think it`s a hangnin` crime. I shall continue to do so! Walkin` Blues Was Robert`s arrangement of a Son House Blues & as usual He did a killer job. Blind Lemon Jefferson did Too Many Hot Dogs a fave of Brett Marvin & The Thunderbolts.

Robert Pete used a knife on Rare occasion Whilst Bukka used a chubby Screwdriver! I use my longer than usual slide as knife carrying is these days frowned on. I can be contacted via delta.man111@gmail.com
