Sidmouth is certainly not a "tune only" session. Your best bet is to have a wander round-it's actually difficult to find a pub that DOESN'T have a session. The festival was originally a dance festival, but now anything goes. Plenty of song sessions. I started off playing tunes, but actually do more songs these days.It may annoy some people but tune sessions bore the arse of people who aren't players themselves-ultimately, it's basically exclusive, elitist and esoteric.
