The balkanisation of folk is one of Sidmouth's weaknesses. Irish only her, English only there, unacompannied only elsewhere. Notable exceptions include the Bedford session and most impromptu sessions. The Dartmoor festival is such a refreshment immediately afterwards, song dandce and instrumentals all sharing the space with courtesy for each other.
