I love it when people get on their favorite hobby horses immediately a disaster happens and cry how they told them so. However in this instance the thames barrier was built before any one had heard of global warming and extreme weather conditions so pardon us older generation who do'nt have any more crystal ball than you do today. I thought the thames barrier was a good idea. GUEST PENNY well said that fact is it pissed down with rain (1month in 1day) and England was not expecting that. So stop knocking the system, you could not do any better. Graham (Guernsey)
