Sandy Mc Lean, I saw the Canadian mission in Kabul. They were nearly as sober as the troops at KAF, and the latter were pretty abstemious in-country. I partook of some of that government-furnished liquour, which was largely used to liquour up our non-Muslim allies--it helped to get their information and co-operation. Also, our dips were not at all reticent about going about in the operational area. Glynn Berry is dead for a reason.
