Anyway, of course crop circle season is pretty much over and done with, what with the commencement of the harvest and the fact they are being mowed down now. But as land art cum mystery, it's that very impermanence, along with the hodge-podge neo-pagan mysticism of circle devotees, which is I think all part and parcel of the essential beauty of the thing.
