I'd just use the gauge that the guitar ordinarily uses when in standard - so as you can change back and forth in tunings at will - yes there will be a difference in neck relief according to the tuning, but not an issue in my opinion.
The other alternative is to have a guitar specifically for DADGAD, then you can set it up as best suits.
