I have been honored to see some of my articles in print in recent issues of Sing Out, including the current issue where I wrote the cover article on the David Wax Museum.

It is sad to see that some people find that recent editions of the magazine "saddens and ultimately depresses", but when I look at my collection, I see the magazine has ALWAYS covered the living folk process and continues to live up to that tradition. In this day and age where the Internet and e-readers are making print publications obsolete, Sing Out! has been working hard to reach audiences and continue to teach and inform about the music we love.
