In the USA they are talking about going to five-day delivery but as far as I know, we all still get six days. Here in Juneau, the post office *counter* is closed on Saturdays but we can knock on a closed back door and pick up packages that have arrived since the day before.

At Christmas US post offices are open longer hours and on April 15, tax return day, ours are open until midnight.
