A variant was recorded as Old Log Cabin by Newfoundland's Fortune Bay Sons (1974-1994) with Cyril Brown: vocals and bass; Wince Keeping: vocals and drums; Jim Vallis: rhythm guitar, piano, lead guitar; and Gerald Stoodley: accordion; as track #3 on their 1980 independent album, Fortune Bay Sons, engineered by Neil Bishop and Claude Caines, and recorded at Clode Sound Studios, Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador.
