In convenience stores, where there's a self-serve coffee area, there are always cartons of cream, milk, and artificial creamers. Hardly anyone ever pours that stuff into their coffee and then closes the container. It takes only a fraction of a second to close it, but no one seems to have the time. I assume those people didn't have mothers, or they'd hear a voice yelling "CLOSE THE CONTAINER!!!".
