Apparently Minister for Energy Pat Rabbitte has awarded 13 new licensing options to explore for oil and gas in Ireland's Atlantic offshore area so Sinn Fein are right to be concerned. Drilling, pumping water, sand and chemicals under high pressure ~ everyone should be concerned. Sinn fein are against fracking and I think that one of the things they are also trying to do is to make sure that Ireland benefits more profitwise, from all the activity that will be going on off the Irish coast, and not the gas companies.
