Y'all, I got to see Richard Thompson last night in a solo acoustic show. Now, understand, I am pretty much a latecomer to the RT bandwagon, but that's really neither here nor there. He played for two hours, but I could have sat there all night. And honestly, I don't even have the words to describe it. Mister and I go to live shows so rarely because the tickets are usually expensive, but we lucked out that these were only $30 each. After we saw Paul McCartney last year, I said, "I never need to go to another concert, ever, except one. . . Richard Thompson." I feel like I can die happy now. :-)
