Well it turns out that one of the "labourers" is also a plasterer! He's almost finished with putting the boards upstairs, and has just edges of the windows to do. However he is away now till Monday. The joiners are busy with architraves, and I have a new back doorstep. Hopefully they will make my stairs soon!

Have just ordered 2 specialist rhubarbs (one I had before at the last house). I will try and get them into some bit of the garden so that they can over-winter in the ground.

First 7lbs now off at WW. They recommend only weighing once a week, as weight can fluctuate a bit from day to day. Just as well, as I can't get at my scales - can't even remember where I've put 'em!
