To get back to Grannies. I went early 90's. Very negative and unwelcoming to a newcomer. One of the people running it had come to the club I usually went to and suggested I come down. Never spoke to me all night. Saw the Purple Gang many times. Always good, especially the night at Stockport College when the steppers were on. Saw them a few years ago in Hyde at a reunion do, bit rusty but a really good night.
