Just talked to Caroline. The power and phone are back on at Folk-Legacy, and about 50% of Sharon now has power. She is delighted people thought of her during this "dark" time and thanks them all for their warm wishes.
On a sad note: Brett, the Sounding Board's stalwart soundman was hit by a tree limb while loading up his van after the show. His shoulder and head were struck. he is in the hospital and went through surgery, but people who visited him say he is responsive and likely to recover fully in time. One thing I have learned in my years of involvement with local festivals and productions, mostly through FSGW, is that the music is only one part of a wonderful folk event. So much rests on the tech staff and volunteers....so Brett, though I do not know you, hats off!
