I recently bought what I believe is a late 19th Century Gut String Open Back Banjo. The dowel stick has "WALDO" stamped on it and the number 1604. I understand that the WALDO MFG CO. made banjos for the BARROWS (or BARROUGHS) Music Company, from 1894 -1902. I would really like to learn more about this banjo. What can you tell me?
