Her speech I think is akin to that of Martin Luther King back in the 60's.

Well now LGB&T folk can have a dream come true, or at least a better nights sleep, because of the long awaited and hoped for changes to come.

This speech came on the same day the UK Home Office issued its action plan to advance transgender equality, along with increasing hate crime tariffs in some cases by 100% (murder that is hate related will now carry 30 years and not 15). All hot on the heels of the UK Government saying they will assess foreign aid based on that countries record with human rights for gay folk.

Dylan was right. "The Times They Are A Changing'". I wonder when some peoples ideas will? The day is coming when bigotry truly will be totally sociably unacceptable and carry a jail term with it on so many fronts.

Personally this is the best thing that happened in the US since DADT was axed as far as LGB&T rights are concerned in my opinion.
