It would be illuminating to see a transcript of the tapes to get an idea of how selective the editing was. I agree with TwickFolk that the programme was interesting but made for uncomfortable listening at times. I cannot think that this group would have lasted as long as it did if EMcC had been as overbearing as this all the time. but I also totally agree with you, Greg (Stephens). I dont think there is anything more toe-curlingly embarrassing than the "I-haven't-quite-learned-this-yet-but-I'll-give-it-a-go" approach to performing. I'm all for "thought and care and rehearsal" all the better to tell the story! Jane
