This is a hymn of unknown origin of both music and words,or at least unknown to the hymn publisher. George Beverly Shea of the Billy Graham Association used to sing it. We used to sing it in church but it is not in any of our latest hymnals. I think it is not "up beat" enough. It is in the Broadman Hymnal of 1940, #74. - Philip Hudson
