Yes but, Joe, yes but, When I went to Catholic elementary school ( I kinda remember the Pope being Peter at the time!) The nuns tought that orignial sin was the normal condition of the infant soul, which was a disqualification from heaven unless remediated by Baptism. An infant who died without Baptism was spiritually relegated to a place called "Limbo" where there was no suffering, but no chance of the Beautific Vision either. Certainly your feelings about evil and individual responsibility to heal evil are commendable - but have no bearing on the doctrine of original sin - at least as it was tought to me. Mark
