Very pleased to find this! As a child in the early sixties I went to a show at Colne Municipal Hall where this song was sung. Just a few tantalising snatches stayed with me: "The corporation muck cart was full up to the brim The driver he fell backwards and he found he couldn't swim (De dee de dee de dee de dee de dee de dee) So they rubbed his back with half a brick and this is what he said...." Good to be able to flesh it out a bit!
