I suppose I can add, although don't know that it helps much, that I remember it as being a VERY sad song (aren't so many, it just struck me more). I also don't believe it was vey long but I may only have real known the chorus if it has one so thats not great information. I also think I remember something about it not being political right to sing it or something like that. Who knows if this will spark anyone's brain? I also don't think it was an obscure song... I knew it from outside my family. This would all be from about 5-10 yrs. ago just to set people in the right time frame. I was pretty young but I have always rememberd those lyrics and wanted to find the song. My new freedom on the net has given me the opertunity to search although I've come up with zilch.
