As a old / ex folk club organiser I agree with Vic the bottom line on booking acts for us was if we could not cover the cost of the artist from door takings it came from our own pockets. People would only turn up for who they knew, not the new best thing since sliced bread who was taking the whole world by storm. Unfortunately sad but true and I suspect much the same now. Keith
