A search on "Peter Kennedy" on mudcat retrieves a large number of threads, but there don't seem to be any recent ones. I did that search hoping to find information on the status of the recordings PK had collected as research for his Folksongs of Britain and Ireland. There was a lot of discussion of these recordings, with various proposals about how and when they would be made publicly available on CD, but I couldn't find any clear final statement on this.

Last year I had heard that the recordings had been made available through Camsco music, but when I emailed them in April 2011, I got a reply from Dick Greenhaus (who in the past has posted on mudcat; don't know if he still does) referring me to Topic Records, but I couldn't find anything about these on the Topic website.

So I wanted to ask if anyone has any further information on the status of these recordings. Are they available anywhere? Or will they be? Thanks for any information.
