Don't expect too much from Dingle. It is an overcrowded, dirty tourist trap. What once used to be a delightful little town has turned into a bloody nightmare of a place. Visit by all means, but don't build up your hopes. I first went there in 1986 and it was lovely. Sadly, it is not the same place. The only good thing now about Dingle is the road into Slea Head – which IS worth a visit!
