WW is right about The Plough at Ley Green on Saturday. The natives are friendly, beer is excellent, wood-burning stove to warm your arse and the pub dog farts... what more could you want??? It's in a tiny village behind Luton airport. The last time I went on a Tuesday we fell out the door at 1:30am and as 'catter Buddhuu wrote in his report, on the Herts/Beds thread, it was an absolute feckin pleasure. However Saturdays are a bit different. I haven't been but I do know Rick(Buddhuu) has had a few quiet ones, you can try to PM him and find out what goes on. If you can't reach him contact me and I'll give him a call.
