Thanks, all Yeah, I've played a bit of slide, but it's tough as I can't fingerpick like I used to. I also have an autoharp, but same problem there. It really is the TIPS of my fingers which are exqisitely sensitive, so it's tough to push the autoharp buttons, and the piano is definitely out. What makes it more maddening is that the symptoms temporarilyy resolve, only to reappear on different digits. I never have the use of all of my fingers. So far, my thumbs are unaffected.

Bert, that EZ-chord is interesting. Almost like a cross between a guitar and an autoharp. Pretty limited with just four chords, but maybe I'll buy one to try. I CAN still flatpick!
