I didn't croak. Made it to the 50th floor in 11:49.74 (that's minutes, not hours). 240/656 overall, 183/365 among males, 16/40 among those in the male 50-59 age group.

Went out too aggressively at the start, and paid for it the rest of the journey, as well as in a time a minute or so slower than I'd have liked. But, the point is making it.

Karen reports I was nice and pale by the time I got down the elevator, probably due to my being deep in recovery with a BP of something like 80/50. A full Irish breakfast of rashers, bangers, black and white pudding, eggs, beans, and tomato, washed down with Guinness at the sponsoring Tir Na Nog pub was the reward. We call that "breaking training!"
