One can just see this shapely young beauty happily ripping off her punters in fine old carnival style with the promise of crappy prises whilst coaxing them with the glad eye. Question is, did he really cop off with her? I doubt it; far more likely I reckon the final verse is just so much idle boasting to compensate for the loss of his hard earned readies, as oppose to his professed innocence, unless ofr course, he paid her for that as well. Again, too much Starkie I'm afraid!
