I remember I had everything by Kraftwerk including their very first album when they were called Organisation. An album called "Tone Float". Great avant-gard stuff. German bands were great back then. I did find Tone-Float on CD at a store about two years ago but it was a bootleg. I bought it anyway. I had a lot of bootlegs on vinyl. I had an excellent Gentle Giant live bootleg. I still have it somewhere.

I love all that early Kraftwerk stuff - Tone Float included. My favourites are the first three Kraftwerk albums (#3 especially: Ralf Und Florian) and a radio broadcast which features on various bootlegs of a Ralf-less Kraftwerk trio with Florian, Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother. Then there's this early trio featuring Ralf, Florian and the great Wolfgang Fluer:

That's as perfect as it gets for me really, though I love pretty everything they did afterwards too.
