Rabbi-Sol Bluegrass at The Borderline June 3rd (1) Bluegrass at The Borderline June 3rd 14 May 12

To All Our Friends at Borderline,

In the wake of our tremendously successful Work O' The Weavers concert last month and the publicity that it generated we are heading into the Summer season on quite a high note.

Our next concert is our annual Bluegrass show that will take place on Sunday afternoon June 3rd at 2:00 PM. We always try to get very special performers for this event and this year will be no exception. Our concert will feature TRAVERS CHANDLER & AVERY COUNTY coming all the way up here from Galax, VA to play for us. They were nominated by the IBMA for emerging artists of the year. They do hard driving traditional Bluegrass in the classic style of Bill Monroe. I am sure that you will enjoy their awesome instrumentals as well as their fantastic harmony vocals.

Opening the show will be singer songwriter TERRY KITCHEN from Boston, MA who will be supported on harmony vocals by our own, MARA LEVINE. This is a show that you definitely will not want to miss. This will also be our last show before the Summer festival season begins.

All this takes place at Steve Shapiro's Living Room, located at 7 – Trailside Court, New City, NY 10956. Admission is $20 per person ($15 for Borderline members), and we ask that you bring a cold pot luck dessert dish to share with 4 other people. Please remember that no alcohol is permitted on the premises. Since this is a house concert with limited seating capacity, we strongly recommend that you make advance reservations. You can do this by e-mail at solz1@optonline.net or by telephone at (845) 354-4586. For more information you can visit our website at www.borderlinefolkmusicclub.org
