Fair comment Richard in terms of the architecture - not one of Liverpool's prettier or historic pubs, but: - on-street parking available outside - less able/disabled friendly - a great collection of singers (and characters!) With fewer and fewer city centre pubs providing affordable/free and appropriate facilities such venues (architecturally meritless as they certainly are) are helping keep our musical culture and heritage alive! All welcome!
